We can all play a part in changing the world. Don't let Satan deceive you into thinking that what you can do is so insignificant that it won't help anything. Look at how Satan operates. He works on the little things. Little by little he erodes away moral values. Next thing you know, what was once called bad is now called good and what was once called good is now bad. It's like a snowball that you push down a snow covered hill. Its starts small and insignificant, but as it progresses down the hill its size increases.
I have heard it stated that under federal law, a hate crime is defined as a crime against a person or property in which the defendant intentionally selects the victim on the basis of their race, religion, ethnicity, national origin, or disability. So before the hate crimes bill all we had were crimes. A crime could be broken down into two types of crimes, a random crime or a premeditated crime. It appears to me that the hate crime law is an extended form of premeditated crime. Determining whether a crime is premeditated is challenging enough, but now we add hate crimes, the level of complexity has increased. Defining what hate is is a moral issue. Like it or not America was founded on Biblical principles. We had a standard to go by, but now people are trying to remove that standard because that standard does not fit their lifestyle. So if you remove a standard, what standard do you live by? It is apparent that these people want to live by an always evolving standard. The problem with that is moral decay. Things that are detestable now will be acceptable down the road. You might say “So what?”. An always evolving standard is what will bring an end to the human race. That’s what. So what’s the fix? The first step is to stop building on the sand foundation we moved to. The first move is to stop the Matthew Shepard Hate Crimes Prevention Act (S. 909). All it is is a move toward more moral decay. It needs to stop! President Obama was right when he said this country is not longer a Christian nation… it has become a man loving nation and we are seeing the ramifications of this misdirected love.
Wouldn’t you think that if you were in the presence of God He’d be enough for you? So why does God say it’s not good for man to be alone? Is there something God can’t fill and the only thing that can fill it is another creature like you?
I read a verse that I saw in a different light. Its Genesis 2:18 “The LORD God said, "It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him."” The thing that hit me was that I always thought Adam and Eve were in the presence of God in Eden. I thought they interacted with God like we interact with other people (a physical, tangible relationship). But that verse implies that there is some kind of (for lack of a better word) disconnect. It’s not the same kind/level of disconnect that we have with God, but there still appears to be some sort of separation. It appears that Adam’s interaction with God is not at the same physical level that we experience when we interact with people. To avoid going down the rabbit hole that this leads me to, I’ll stick to my point. We shouldn’t simply rely on God for our daily battles (bare with me). “It is not good for man to be alone”. We should use each other for these daily battles too. We need each other for encouragement, reproof, and comfort. “Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.” (Ecc 4:12) It’s interesting how that verse is talking about two people, but it says three strands aren’t easily broken. It wasn’t even a question to the writer of Ecc that when a Christian is fellowshipping with another Christian that there is a third member. That third member is God’s Spirit. Two friends and the Holy Spirit are a strong force. Amen! We can benefit from each other and bring glory to Jesus with our friendships. Keep challenging each other and building each other up. “A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.” The Trinity confirms this.
To answer the first question’s, if He can fill that void with His creation, then it means He is what we need.
Apparently there is a brown dwarf star that orbits around our sun and another star(our suns dark twin). Its orbit take 3600 years and this brown dwarf is approaching earth again. So not only do we have the sun pushing and pulling us... we will now have this brown dwarf doing the same. This is thought to cause change in weather patterns, earthquakes, volcanic explosions... basically all the things that happen in Revelation. Below are a couple of links that talk about Planet X. http://www.bibliotecapleyades.net/hercolobus/planetX/code_red/code_red08.htm http://www.millenniumprophecy.com/science.html
I have been thinking about the truth in religion. The Muslims say that the Bible has been corrupted and the Koran is the infallible unaltered word of god. They believe that Allah is the same God that is in the Bible, but the Bible has been corrupted by man and therefore is no longer true. One could ask the question, why would God allow His word to His people become corrupt? If God would allow that, what kind of weak God do you serve? How are you supposed to follow Him, if you do not even know what’s truth? With that thought process you could conclude that the Muslim faith is the true faith. It stands alone… there are no knock off’s. It is unaltered. Meanwhile you have the Bible that has all kinds of knock off’s. Which knock off is true? I don’t want to follow a God that can’t even keep His word uncorrupted.
There is of course another side to this coin. There is obviously good and evil. You can say this because everybody knows there are things that are right to do and things that are wrong to do. What might be right to someone might be wrong to someone else, but right and wrong always exist. And since there are different considerations of right and wrong; further makes the point that there needs to be a standard. That standard is the Bible. So if you’re evil, what is the best way to deceive someone? The best way is to mix truth with non-truth. If you were a person that didn’t believe any religion, but knew there had to be something more to this life. How would you go about finding where to start first? I’d say you’d start looking for something that is common between all religions. Without going into all the commonalities, I’ll point out one. Have you noticed how many religions recognize Jesus Christ either as God or a good man? With Him being in so many religions, would it be dumb to think that there must be something special about this “man”? It seems to me that He is the truth that is getting mixed in with non-truth. Satan has been doing a great job and washing down the importance of Jesus. But in doing that washing down, he has made it obvious that there is something special about Jesus.
